Horror fans around the world have been captivated by Phasmophobia. This ghost-hunting adventure recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, offering consistent updates like changes to the crucifix, alongside more ghouls.
With Halloween around the corner, it's only right for a horror game to plan something big. Though details remain minimal, the developer's Trello board implies that a Nightmare Difficulty could be coming next month.
Phasmophobia Will Add A Nightmare Difficulty For Its Halloween Update
While further details on the Halloween event are listed as [REDACTED], a Nightmare Difficulty is part of their aforementioned plans. As discovered by TheGamer, Kinect Games confirmed these plans on the official Phasmophobia Discord board.
They're also asking for fans suggestions on what aspects to include in the Nightmare Difficulty. Between an increased number of ghosts to reducing the interaction of paranormal fiends, Kinect Games are looking at various features.
This Halloween update will follow the recent Exposition expansion, which added two ghosts in Goryo and Myling, alongside improvements to sprinting gameplay and visual/ sound adjustments. We'll keep you updated with further details.
