Outriders Inventory Wipe Fix



There is currently no fix for the Outriders Inventory Wipe bug, though it does seem like there might be one incoming. In the Tweet below you’ll see the developers explain that they are working on a process to restore lost gear. This seems to be a priority for the studio at present, so let’s hope something is implemented sooner rather than later.



How to Prevent the Inventory Wipe From Happening to You



The good news is that the devs over at People Can Fly have reduced the number of players being affected by this bug, but they haven’t gotten rid of it completely however. They have offered some advice on what to do if it happens to you. It reads as follows:

  1. As soon as you’ve noticed the bug, quit the whole game
  2. Reload and check to see if you’ve negated the recent autosave
  3. You may lose a small amount of progress.
