Tower of Fantasy 2.0 - Vera Update, release date and more

Looking for information around the Tower of Fantasy 2.0 update? The mobile and PC open world RPG released globally a few months back to great success, and now, the developers are releasing the very first expansion of the game.

This update brings along with it a whole new setting, filled with new creatures to fight, a whole new campaign with new missions, and of course, new Weapons and Simulacra to roll for in the gacha system.

When does Tower of Fantasy 2.0 update release?

Tower of Fantasy 2.0 and the Vera update launched on October 20, 2022. It's available on PC, iOS and Android. Make sure that you update your clients on mobile or the stand alone, and you can download the game through Steam which should have the latest update.

Tower of Fantasy 2.0 update

The first major thing that will be available in the update is the Vera region of the game. It's a large new world that has two environments. The first is the harsh Desert Gobby, and at the center of it all is the second, the bustling cyberpunk city of Mirroria.

Vera will have a ton to do in it, with a new set of missions, events, raids, instances and more. It also seems that there's going to be a new endgame area called Grayspace.

The next thing that we're getting is new characters that we'll be able to pull on from the Gacha. The trailer shows three of the characters that are coming to the global version of the game, Ruby, Saki Fuwa, and Lin. Currently at the moment, only Ruby is available to pull on, but we expect that the others will show up in the near future.

On top of that there should be plenty of launch events around the update, as well as the Steam version launch as well, so we should have plenty of currency to roll for these new simulacra. There's currently an few events, including log in events that give you Red Nuclei to roll on the special banners.
