Looking into getting a new phone but can't quite stomach the thought of collecting all that sleep data again? You'll want to know how to transfer a Pokemon Sleep account to another device pronto. Even if you're just borrowing a phone or need to use another device for the night, the steps here will help you register another easy night's sleep.

Mobile games are leaps and bounds ahead of where they happened to be just five years ago. Back then, transferring game data from one device to another was a luxury. Game accounts were tied to the devices they were on, and logging into one over the other meant starting fresh unless you deactivated the account on one and enabled it on the other. It was a huge pain. Pokemon Sleep doesn't make it as easy as today's cross-platform titles, but it's not too tough.

What carries over when you transfer a Pokemon Sleep account?

Absolutely everything. So long as you follow the steps above, every reward, Pokemon, score, and item that was present on your account on one device will move over the next. It'll be like nothing changed other than your phone.

One thing that may differ could be any premium currencies you had on your account, or your paid pass. If you're switching from iOS to Android of vice-versa, you may have to spend gems you bought with real money or cancel and restart your subscription on the new device.

Can you transfer a Pokemon Sleep account without the Transfer Code or Support ID?

Technically, you can transfer a Pokemon Sleep account without either the Transfer Code and Support ID, but you'll still need access to the account in question first. This isn't some way to log into your account without having it accessible by your side at the same time.

Follow the steps above, stopping once you've tapped onto the 'Link Accounts' menu. Here, you want to log into either a Facebook account, Apple account, or Google account. Doing so will link your Pokemon Sleep account to those services, bringing it over to whichever device you log into next with that matching account. The same points as above apply.
