Struggling to defeat Cocolia? Our Honkai Star Rail Simulated Universe World 6 guide has you covered. This particular world reintroduces the Cocolia as the final boss. To make things worse, she can now summon Bronya and attack multiple times in a row due to Bronya’s Advance Forward skill.

The fight can be extremely brutal and you need to have enough defensive utility to survive the party-wide Freeze attacks and unstoppable AoE damage. Fire characters and shielders are your best friends if you want to be victorious in World 6.

Before we tell you how you can beat Cocolia once and for all, take a look at our other guides on how to get more Stellar Jades and how to increase Trailblaze level in case you are missing characters or resources to prepare for the fight.

Honkai Star Rail: Simulated Universe World 6 - Best characters

The three elements you want to bring to World 6 are Fire, Quantum, and Lighting with Fire being the most potent option.

Himeko: She is the queen of Fire DoT effects and using her abilities will allow you to burst down Cocolia’s shields and cause the Break Effect to trigger. It can be used to cancel Cocolia’s actions which can be very useful if you are in low health and need some breathing room.

Asta: She is the best free-to-play character to use to break Cocolia’s shields and her damage output is also very strong. Where Asta truly shines is her Speed buff which can allow you to take extra actions before powerful foes can even react to your moves.

Natasha: She is quite strong in the Cocolia boss fight thanks to her ability to cleanse allies and remove the Freeze debuff. Her Ultimate can also do a massive AoE heal and if you have Path of Abundance buffs, you should be able to heal back to full every time you take damage.

Gepard: He can almost trivialize the entire fight as long as you manage his shield uptime properly. If you have Gepard on your roster, consider bringing him to World 6 with as many DEF relics as you can.

Welt: He is one of the best characters to bring to the Cocolia boss fight because of his Slow effect that can manipulate turns for enemies. By reducing the number of times Cocolia can attack you, Welt helps you manage your skill points and Ultimates better.

Fire Trailblazer: You should bring the main character to the fight if you do not have any powerful units to break Cocolia’s shield. The Fire Trailblazer can deal tons of damage to Cocolia’s shields and apply Break Effect on her in just two turns with the right relics.

Honkai Star Rail: Simulated Universe World 6 - Best teams

Best F2P Team - Serval, Fire Trailblazer, Asta, Natasha

This free-to-play team makes use of two Fire characters to ensure you can break Cocolia’s shield as quickly as possible when she starts charging her attacks. Serval might not be great for the final boss fight, but she is extremely powerful in all of the stages leading up to the Cocolia fight. Natasha is a must-have to keep your team protected from incoming damage.

Best Budget Team - Himeko, Serval, Fire Trailblazer, Natasha

We sacrifice Asta’s utility for Himeko’s damage in this team setup. Himeko’s DoT effects can be very powerful against both Bronya and Cocolia and you should be able to break all shields with Fire Weakness with ease. If you have enough healing in your team, you can consider going for the Path of Nihility to maximize Himeko’s DoT procs.

Best High-End Team - Seele, Welt, Fire Trailblazer, Natasha

This team uses two 5-star characters. Seele is your primary damage dealer while Welt can help manipulate turns and prevent Cocolia from attacking on time. Fire Trailblazer is surprisingly good at breaking Cocolia’s shields thanks to the enhanced Basic Attacks if you have stacks of Magma Will. Finally, we have Natasha for healing the party. We did not choose Bailu as our healer because she cannot cleanse debuffs, which is a big problem as Cocolia constantly freezes your allies and renders them vulnerable.

Honkai Star Rail: Simulated Universe World 6 - Best path

The path that you should choose in World 6 depends solely on when you are attempting World 6. If you already have level 60+ characters and high Trace levels, you can go for any offensive Path like Nihility or Hunt. If you have multiple DoT characters, Nihility is the way to go but Hunt is optimal for single-target damage.

Abundance is the best path to use for World 6. You want to get as many Abundance Blessings as you can and you should ignore everything else. The goal is to get a total of three Path Resonances.

The first Path Resonance you receive will be the default option that gives you a burst of healing. Once you have access to it, choose the one that cleanses debuffs from all allies upon using a Path Resonance. Finally, the third Resonance upgrade should be the one that automatically activates the Resonance and puts it on the action stack. This will allow you to automatically cleanse all Freeze effects that Cocolia applies on you in the final fight.

Having a consistent source of healing also allows you to be safe even when your healer is frozen and cannot react to Cocolia’s attacks. Do note that you need to have enough HP to survive multiple attacks so try to have around 1800 HP per character if you want to keep every member of your party alive.

That is all you need to know about beating the final stage of the Simulated Universe. You should unlock all of the Curios and Blessings as they will give you a massive chunk of Stellar Jade. if you need even more resources check out our list of Honkai Star Rail codes and Honkai Star Rail Twitch drops for some free content.
