Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream date, time, and what to expect

Happy third anniversary to all Genshin Impact players! The anniversary update details was released in the Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream, which includes arrival of the Hydro archon Furina, new events, rerun, and more.

While Hoyoverse has started its drip marketing for the upcoming characters, we got detailed look at all of the upcoming content for the next patch during the 4.2 livestream, which took place on November 2023.

Furina is one of the most anticipated characters in the game because of her archon status, and we recommend saving your Primogems for her.

The Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream happened last month, November 3, 2023 specifically. However, the 4.3 livestream might be on the horizon. We'll be releasing an update once we get a hand of the details.

Primogem codes for Genshin Impact 4.2

We will update the Primogem codes as soon as the livestream ends, so remember to check in here after the livestream wraps up. Players can expect 300 Primogems and a few other resources and they will be available for only one day so you need to be quick.

Genshin Impact 4.2 Livestream: What to expect

Here are all of the announcements made from the event.

New characters - Furina and Charlotte will be the two new playable characters launching in patch 4.2. Charlotte is a 4-star character who will be on the same banner as the Hydro archon Furina.

Reruns - Baizhu will be in the first rerun banner of the patch, while Ayato and Cyno will be available in the second half of the patch. They will also have their respective weapons featured on the weapon banner in case you want to grab them.

Quality of life changes - There are some leaks suggesting that the limit on the number of pins on the map will be raised to 200. But we can also expect other changes to improve player experience.

Events - The livestream will detail all of the upcoming events that we can expect during the patch. We already know that there is a 4-star ATK% sword, which will be available as part of an event, therefore you do not want to miss out on it.

New weekly boss - A new weekly boss has been determined that will drop materials for Charlotte and Furina. If you're pre-farming for either of the characters, we recommend saving some of your Fragile Resin or preparing some Condensed Resin to grab the materials on day one.
