Charlotte made her debut way back in Genshin Impact Version 3.7 as she came to cover the events of the King of Invokations Grand Prix TCG tournament. Charlotte is a news reporter for the Steambird newspaper and travels all across with her trusty Kamera. Her Kamera is an essential part of her kit and her element will be Cryo. Today we'll be taking a look at all the Charlotte materials you need for her ascensions and talent upgrades.

Here are the materials required for ascending Charlotte and where to find them.
Mora and EXP

You can collect Mora and EXP books by completing Ley Line challenges, events, and story missions.
Shivada crystals
- One Shivada Lazurite Sliver
- Nine Shivada Lazurite Fragments
- Nine Shivada Lazurite Chunks
- Six Shivada Lazurite Gemstones
You can farm Shivada Crystals by defeating Cryo bosses such as the Cryo Regisvine and the Cryo Hypotasis or any upcoming new Cryo bosses released in Fontaine, such as the Icewind Suite. You can also use alchemy to convert your other elemental crystals into Cryo Shivada crystals.
Clockwork Meka Gears
- Meshing Gear x18
- Mechanical Spur Gear x30
- Artificed Dynamic Gear x36
These are the enemy drops that you will be needing as Charlotte materials for both ascension and talent level-up. You should learn all about the local Clockwork Meka enemies and hunt them down across Fontaine. They respawn daily, so it shouldn't take you too long to farm all these Charlotte materials.
Local speciality - Beryl Conch

The Beryl Conch is a local speciality in Fontaine and won't be found in any other region. There are 99 Beryl Conches in Fontaine, and all of them are located in underwater areas. They respawn every 48 hours. Two cycles of Beryl Conch farming will get you all the Charlotte materials you need. Here are their locations:
Charlotte Boss drop - Tubion Device

The Tubion Device is a boss drop from the new Genshin Impact Version 4.1 world boss, the Experimental Field Generator. You can find the Experimental Field Generator by heading to the north of the Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region. Or just head south from the teleport waypoint above it.

You can farm these from the Pale Forgotten Glory Domain located to the northeast of Poisson. Note that this domain will only be available on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday).

The 4.2 Weekly boss is the All-Devouring Narwhal and Charlotte will be using its materials for the final levels of her Talent upgrades. So make sure to do your best to farm the boss as much as you can.
