Aside from clobbering each other off the stage, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl players can also play a casual ball game called Sports Ball in this fighting game. The rules for this game are simple and can be customizable according to the player's liking. Here's how players can start a Sports Ball match in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Sports Ball - How To Play Sports Ball
In the main battle menu, the Sports mode icon is the one with the Helga Pataki picture. Pick this to start Sports Ball mode, which supports up to four players in a match. Sports Ball features 1vs1 and 2vs2 mode, along with1vs3 mode.
Once you've settled on a mode, just pick your characters and the game will start. However, we recommend changing the settings first.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Sports Ball - How To Change Settings In Sports Ball
In the settings menu, you can change the timer, score required to win, and even the ball type before the match begins. The default setting is first to get 15 points for six minutes. If this setting is too grueling, especially for newer players who just want to hit things, choosing a lower score and more generous timer is a good way to get familiar with the mode first.
Ball types include soccer, football, Tommy Ball, Yarn Ball, and Plankton Ball. The standard ball is the soccer ball, which can only be hit towards goals to earn points. Meanwhile, all the other balls can be hit and grabbed to increase shot control and, ideally, earn more points.
Lastly, the Critical K.O option determines whether characters can get critically hit with an attack at dangerously high percentages. Sports Ball is a contact sport, and there's a chance to hit your foes and knock them off the stage.
How To Win In Sports Ball
To win a Sports Ball match, players must, unsurprisingly, get the winning score within the time limit. If the time ends before the winning score is reached, the team with the most points wins.
Unlike the regular mode, knocking out players through sending them off stage doesn't earnpoints. However, fighting your opponents to secure a clear path to score is a valid strategy, so don't be shy to land direct hits on your foe to get them out of your way.
