Players will need to update their games before they can claim the celebration package, and it may only be claimed once, in the main game of Monster Hunter Rise.

This milestone comes the same day as the first major update for the game. Patch 2.0 is a free update for owners of the game that brings new monsters and an increase in Hunter Rank.

The higher Hunter Rank brings in more rewards with new weapons and armor available. You can read our full Hunter Rank guide here.
