Monster Hunter Rise has been a roaring success for Capcom, both critically and commercially. With a Metacritic score of 88, and 5 million copies shipped (at the time of writing), it's clear plenty of franchise veterans have jumped in, as well as newcomers.
The game's first sizeable post-launch drop, dubbed version 2.0, is coming soon - and it's bringing new monsters, changes to Hunter Rank, and plenty more.
Here's everything we know so far.
Monster Hunter Rise 2.0 Release Date
So far, all we know is that the content will land towards the end of April, as per the game's official website.
Monster Hunter Rise 2.0 Price
Good news, Monster Hunter fans - the update will be free.
Monster Hunter Rise 2.0 Monsters
As for new monsters, players will be able to hunt Chameleos, an Elder Dragon from Monster Hunter 2.
We're also expecting the Apex Rathalos to be added.
Capcom has promised further monsters, so we'll be updating this page when we hear of any more.
Monster Hunter Rise 2.0 HR Changes
The game's current Hunter Rank caps out at HR7, and update 2.0 is going to unlock that.
That means players will be able to keep climbing, and we'll likely get a first look at the game's endgame content.
