Monster Hunter Rise Dragonblight Status Effect Explained

Dragonblight is a status effect that can be inflicted upon you by certain Dragon monsters in MH Rise. Once you're hit with Dragonblight you will see a purple dragon symbol appear above your health bar. While this is active, weapon element and status effects are nullified. This can have a real impact on your damage, especially for those running elemental builds.

How to Get Rid of Dragonblight

To cure Dragonblight in Monster Hunter Rise you will need to take a Nulberry. It is recommended that you bring these along with you for certain fights like the Crimson Glow Valstrax. You can also dodge roll repeatedly to clear the Dragonblight status effect, much like you would if inflicted by Burn. The effects will also wear off on their own after a while if left untreated.
