Monster Hunter Rise Crimson Glow Valstrax Weaknesses
Crimson Glow Valstrax's main weakness is Blast. Other than that, you're fine going in with Fire, Ice, Thunder or Water as they'll all give you the same boost. Other than that Valstrax isn't particularly weak to anything, having the usual weak points of tail and head.
Best Armour and Weapons to Use
Given that the Valstrax has a wide range of options in terms of weapons your best bet is to go with whatever increases attack power or adds relevant Rampage Skills. In terms of armour, the Crimson Glow Valstrax does heavy Dragon damage so anything with bonus resistances there would be a real boost. The Dober is a good choice, as are the Dragon Resist and Blast Jewel Decorations.
Tips on Beating Crimson Glow Valstrax
Crimson Glow Valstrax has a lot of different moves, though there are only a few you really need to watch out for. The first is a beam attack that can easily be avoided. Use this as an opportunity to run in and deal damage. Next up is a charge up blast that sees the monster sucking in its chest. Attack here and interrupt the attack to do a lot of damage. Finally, keep an eye out for the comet attack. Valstrax will fly high into the air and turn into a red comet. The best way to avoid this is to sprint and dive as the comet comes back down to earth. Make sure you bring Nulberries to negate Dragonblight and bring some Flash Bombs for good measure too.
