Modern Warfare Season 5: EBR-14 Setup Guide & Best Attachments For Your Class in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

Perhaps the most underrated weapon class on Modern Warfare, the marksman rifles all offer something that can elevate your gameplay for Season 5.

Available from the very beginning, the EBR-14 heavily resembles the M14 from previous Modern Warfare games. The semi-automatic rifle is extremely effective in medium to long-range gunfights but it is important to control the recoil levels to extract its full potential on the battlefield.

In this guide, we will show you three classes combined with some handy Modern Warfare tips & tricks to keep you ahead of your opponents.

Class 1 – No Recoil

The first class is perfect for eliminating the high recoil.

Attachments

  • Forge TAC Precision 20.0” (Barrel)
  • 4.0x Flip Hybrid (Optic)
  • FSS Raider Chassis Pro (Stock)
  • Muzzle Brake (Muzzle)
  • Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel)

This combination of attachments reduces recoil to a minimum, giving you maximum control of the rifle. The hybrid scope is great for dealing with opponents at any possible range.

Perks

  • Scavenger (Perk 1)
  • Ghost (Perk 2)
  • Tracker (Perk 3)

With such a small magazine, scavenger ensures that you never run out of ammunition during a match.

Grenades

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal
  • Smoke Grenade (Tactical)

Selecting grenades is always personal preference but the combination of the frag grenade and a smoke grenade is a tough one to beat. Throw the frag across the map for some crazy kill opportunities and use the smoke in a variety of ways to score kills and evade death.

Field Upgrades

  • Stopping Power Rounds

Already armed with a very fast time to kill, make it even quicker by loading stopping power rounds into the magazine.

Killstreaks

  • UAV (4 Kills)
  • Wheelson (7 Kills)
  • Support Helo (11 Kills)

The combination of a wheelson and a support helo is a sure-fire way to score a massive number of kills in a short space of time.

Class 2 – Speed Demon

Aimed for maximum agility, this class still packs a punch in close quarters combat.

Attachments

  • Forge TAC Elite (Barrel)
  • Tac Laser (Laser)
  • G.I Mini Reflex (Optic)
  • FSS Raider Chassis Elite (Stock)
  • Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)

With an unpredictable spray pattern when firing from the hip, the tac laser provides some much-needed accuracy when spraying.

Perks

  • Double Time (Perk 1)
  • Hardline (Perk 2)
  • Battle Hardened (Perk 3)

Increasing tactical sprint length is ideal for rushing through a closed door to ambush an enemy. Favouring the aggressive players, it is likely that you will be taken down a lot using this class so equipping hardline makes it much easier to score killstreaks.

Grenades

  • Thermite (Lethal)
  • Flash Grenade (Tactical)

More and more people are starting to use thermite as their lethal piece of equipment. Its ability to be stuck to any surface and its burning can deal a lot of damage to an opponent, making them a very easy target to deal with.

Field Upgrades

  • Dead Silence

For any aggressive loadout, dead silence is a must. The combination of silent footsteps and increased mobility makes it very easy to move around the map undetected.

Killstreaks

  • Personal Radar (3 Kills)
  • Precision Airstrike (5 Kills)
  • VTOL Jet (8 Kills)

The personal radar is your best friend when playing aggressively. The ability to locate enemies in your vicinity gives you a good idea on what you are about to face.

Class 3 – Mobile Sniper

The third and final class is a perfect alternative to using a sniper rifle. Its increased mobility makes it great when moving to a new position to pick off any targets.

Attachments

  • Forge TAC Precision 22.0” (Barrel)
  • Bipod (Underbarrel)
  • 20 Round Mags (Ammunition)
  • FTAC Precision Comb (Stock)
  • Sniper Scope (Optic)

Offering increased aiming stability and a huge scope to excel at the longest possible ranges, this class is great when posted up in a building and looking to pick people off quickly and quietly.

Perks

  • Cold Blooded (Perk 1)
  • High Alert (Perk 2)
  • Shrapnel (Perk 3)

High alert is a godsend when scoped in. Thanks to the increased levels of awareness, you won’t fall victim to a rival sniper or someone else who has spotted you from afar.

Grenades

  • Proximity Mine (Lethal)
  • Heartbeat Sensor (Tactical)

Place your proxy mines in dark areas to make them hard to spot. The heartbeat sensor is great to assess the situation when a few opponents are within touching distance.

Field Upgrades

  • Deployable Cover

Deployable cover is perfect to use when you need a bit of extra cover in an open area or you want to further fortify your current position. Place it in front of a window to make you a very tricky target!

Killstreaks

  • Care Package (4 Kills)
  • Sentry Gun (7 Kills)
  • Gunship (12 Kills)

The gunship can be scored when positioned in the right place. A well-placed sentry gun can deal an unparalleled level of damage onto the unsuspecting opposition.
