How's the Mobile Legends tier list looking these days? Now in its fifth year, Mobile Legends has amassed a character roster of over 100 unique brawlers for players to choose from. The bloated selection goes a long way to ensuring each 12-18 minute match is unique. But like any other competitive game out there, a meta eventually emerges, pushing some characters to the bottom of the barrell. If that's how you feel about your main, read up on our Mobile Legends tier list down below. You might just find a new way up the ranked ladder.
But before we get into the finer details, think about checking out some of our other in-depth tier lists. If you're into Punishing: Gray Raven, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, Nier Reincarnation, or even another MOBA like League of Legends: Wild Rift or Pokémon Unite, we have a comprehensive tier list hub you might get some use out out of. And if Genshin Impact is your thing outside of Mobile Legends, we have some incredibly detailed build guides as well.
Mobile Legends Tier List - Every Hero Ranked
With over 100 characters to unlock and take into battle already, keeping up with the Mobile Legends tier list will go a long way in ensuring you don't bite off more than you can chew in the arena. For example, if you're charging at an S-tier hero with a C-tier pick, you're probably going to get called a feeder or troll by the team.
Unless you've snowballed exceptionally well, some heroes will struggle against others on what looks like even footing whether they're classed as a counter or not. It's hard to balance more than 100 characters, hundreds of skills, and dozens of items. It's why tier lists like this exist. Just keep the lists below in the back of your mind and you'll always have a decent idea of who or what you're going up against.
The Best Mobile Legends Heroes
Although Mobile Heroes splits its many characters into distinct roles, some characters are simply better all-rounders than others. The characters on this particular tier list are the absolute best around, which should make it easier to decide who to buy, who to ban, and which characters to look out for on the opposite team's loading screen. Here are the best Mobile Legends heroes as of the September 21 patch:
Mobile Legends Tank Tier List - Best Tank Heroes
|A||Akai, Alice, Atlas, Esmeralda, Gatotkaca, Gloo, Johnson, Lolita, Minotaur, Uranus|
|B||Balmond, Baxia, Franco, Hilda, Hylos, Khufra|
Tanks are bulky, durable brawlers who, after training up in the field, take their position at the front of the team, deciding if and when to engage the enemy. Once a fight breaks out, it's their job to take the heat away from their more fragile friends, stunning, pushing, and slowing down enemies who try to slaughter the team. Here's how each Mobile Legends tank fits on the tier list:
Mobile Legends Fighter Tier List - Best Side Lane Hero
|S||Layla, Khaleed, Roger, Paquito, Yu Zhong,|
|A||Aulus, Hayabusa, Guinevere, Chou, Gatotkaca, Jawhead, Sun, X.Borg, Zilong|
|B||Alpha, Alucard, Argus, Badang, Bane, Barats, Freya, Hilda, Lapu-Lapu, Martis, Thamuz, Terizla|
|C||Balmond, Dyrroth, Kaja, Leomord, Minsitthar, Ruby, Silvanna|
The best Mobile Legends Fighters are a versatile bunch. With higher durability than junglers but slightly less damage potential, they sit somewhere between both the assassin and tank role, building up threat as the match goes on.
They possess mid-range mobility, damage, and crowd-control abilities, making them, by design, hybrid brawlers that can be built to handle most match situations. Here's how each Mobile Legends fighter fits on the tier list:
Mobile Legends Assassin Tier List - Best Jungle Hero
|S||Wukong, Ling, Saber, Yi Sun-Shin|
|A||Alucard, Benedetta, Hanzo, Fanny, Gusion, Karina, Harley|
|B||Haybusa, Kadita, Natalia, Lancelot|
Mobile Legends Assassins (or 'Junglers') are heroes that stay away from the lanes in the early game. Instead, they rely on specific equipment to help them clear monsters in the areas between lanes, racking up Gold and EXP without being bogged down by lane rivals.
After five minutes or so, they pounce on over-extending laners as they travel between jungle areas, bursting targets down before fading back into the shadows. Here's how each Mobile Legends Assassin fits on the tier list:
Mobile Legends Mage Tier List - Best Mid Hero
|S||Eudora, Harley, Kagura, Lylia, Pharsa, Vale, Yve|
|A||Lunox, Cecilion, Alice, Chang'e, Cyclops, Esmeralda, Gord|
|B||Aurora, Faramis, Harith, Kadita, Kimmy, Luo Yi, Selena, Valir, Zhask, Mathilda|
|C||Odette, Nana, Angela|
|D||Vexana, Diggie, Estes|
Mobile Legends mages typically sit on the mid lane, slinging spells against a single lane opponent. The outcome of these duels can quickly push a game in either team's favour, creating a high risk, high reward dynamic that only the most accurate will win.
Late in the game, a bursty mage will make all the difference in dealing high area damage to the entire team, whittling them down for more mobile characters to finish off. Here's how the current stack of Mobile Legends mages fit on tier list:
Mobile Legends Marksman Tier List - Best ADC Hero
|S||Granger, Layla, Natan, Roger|
|A||Brody, Bruno, Lesley, Popol & Kupa, Yi Sun-Shin|
|B||Beatrix, Claude, Karrie, Moskov|
|C||Clint, Hanabi, Kimmy, Wanwan|
A Mobile Legends Marksman works similarly to those found in other MOBA games. They're the late-game carries designed to sit on a lane with a support hero backing them up. Their primary reliance on hard-hitting basic attacks means they're able to fight for as long as they have the HP to do so.
All this power comes at a cost, though. Marksman characters are glass cannons. Push too hard and they risk feeding the enemy's own. Here's where each Mobile Legends Marksman sits on the tier list:
Mobile Legends Support Tier List - Best Support Hero
|A||Diggie, Lolita, Minotaur|
|B||Angela, Nana, Carmilla,|
In Mobile Legends, Support characters typically sit on the same lane as the marksman. They're not all healers, but they do aid in the carry's growth by either keeping them fighting fit or slowing, stunning, and otherwise controlling the enemy from afar.
The support works to make the carry's progression a little easier, either helping them pick off targets or simply keeping them out of harm's way. Once teams start to gather up, supports become primary targets, making it imperative that they stay behind the team's tank. Here's how the current Mobile Legends Support characters fit on the tier list:
Who Is the Newest Mobile Legends Hero?
Floryn is the newest Mobile Legends hero to hit the game. She arrives on September 22.
If you want a quick shot at a win, you might as well attempt to use the newest Mobile Legends hero. It's Mobile Legends tradition to assume the next character released will be the strongest. And while that's typically true for most, they're quickly dialed back by patches, hotfixes, and balance passes soon after launch.
So, if you're simply looking to avoid all the tier list fluff and jump straight into battle with a character that could trump them all, Aulus is the one to go for right now. It'll take some time before other players learn how to counter him.
Who Is the Next Mobile Legends Hero?
Mobile Legends is always growing. Five years in, and over 100 characters later, the game is showing no signs of slowing down. That means we can expect new Mobile Legends heroes far into the future. But who is the next Mobile Legends hero?
All signs to point Aamon being the next Mobile Legends hero. Revealed during the Natan release comic, Aamon is said to be the brother of Gusion. The character has already shown up on the Advance server, pretty much solidifying Aamon as the next Mobile Legends hero to arrive after Natan.
There's no Aamon Mobile Legends release date just yet, but expect him to arrive sometime in September. Click the video above to see him in action.
