Lost Ark Has Been Unexpectedly Delayed, Citing Deployment Issues

Lost Ark has faced an unexpected delay, arriving minutes before it was due to launch. Confirming 11 servers had already hit capacity from early access earlier today, Smilegate Entertainment issued a last minute statement just before the full release.

Releasing a new statement, Smilegate confirmed:

Heroes of Arkesia. Due to deployment issues the Lost Ark launch is unfortunately delayed. We hope to have this resolved in a matter of hours, and we appreciate your patience. We want your time in Arkesia to be a great experience and we’re working hard to get Lost Ark live as soon as possible. Stay tuned to our social media and website for updates.

It's unclear whether this'll affect the planned server rollout too, as Smilegate were planning to add two new servers to EU Central (Beatrice) and NA East (Elzowin). Imposing character creation limits on 11 different servers, you can find more details about this here.

We're not sure when Lost Ark will fully launch on PC, though judging by Smilegate's statement, we're hopeful this won't be a long wait. If you've already been playing in early access, why not check out our guides for Stat Boosts, Gear Progression, Classes and Roles, and plenty more.
