Who is Acheron in Honkai Star Rail?
Acheron is one of the three characters in Honkai Star Rail's 2.1 update. She's a five-star unit. Her Combat Type is Lightning, and her path is Nihility. Characters who follow this path usually excel at applying debuffs, so she will most likely be a support.
According to the game’s lore, Acheron has a foggy background and lacks a specific direction. She can travel backwards in time, which explains why she knows how events unfold. Rumours say Acheron is an Emanator of Nihility, but we can confirm these assumptions only when the 2.1 version is released.
Honkai Star Rail Acheron release date estimate
According to the leaks, the Acheron banner will be available for purchase in the first half of the 2.1 update. We don't have an exact release date for the 2.1 update, but we expect the second part of 2.0 at the end of February.
With that said, Honkai Star Rail's 2.1 update is likely coming in late March, bringing the new character Acheron along for the ride. This timing lines up perfectly with the game's usual six-week update cycle.
Honkai Star Rail Acheron abilities
Trilateral Wiltcross is Acheron's normal attack. It’s a single-target attack that deals 50-130% of Acheron's ATK to a target as a Lighting DMG.
Octobolt Flash is Acheron's skill, which is also a single-target attack. It gains Slashed Dream and inflicts a stack of Crimson Knot, dealing 80-200% of Acheron’s ATK to the enemy, along with 30-75% of Acheron’s ATK as Lightning DMG.
Slashed Dream Cries in Red is Acheron's single-target ultimate. It unleashes Rainblade and deals 14.4-28.8% of Acheron’s ATK as Lightning DMG to the enemy, removing up to 3 stacks of Crimson Knot. Once Crimson Knot is removed, deals 9-18% of Acheron’s ATK to all enemies, with the DMG multiplier increasing by 9-18% for each removed Crimson Knot.
Honkai Star Rail Acheron talent
Atop Rainleaf Hangs Onenes is Acheron's talent. The Ultimate can be used once Slashed Dream reaches 9 points. During the Ultimate, Acheron depletes enemies' toughness and reduces RS by 25% until the Ultimate ends. Upon the death, enemies with Crimson Knot stacks transfer them to an enemy with the most Crimson Knot.
Honkai Star Rail Acheron technique
Quadrivalent Ascendance is the technique of Acheron. After using it, she immediately attacks an enemy. Right after entering the fight, Acheron gains 2 Slashed Dream and deals 80% of her ATK as a Lightning DMG to all enemies (also inflicts 2 stacks of Crimson Knot on the random enemy). If enemies have Red Karma, BAM! They're instantly defeated and don't even get a chance to fight back.
