How to change the time of day

There’s no way to change the time of day manually while playing through Spider-Man 2’s main story. Time will pass automatically as you progress through the game’s main plot.

However, the previous Spider-Man games did allow players to make changes to the time of day after completing the main storyline. It stands to reason that Spider-Man 2 may give you the same opportunity.

In both the original Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, you can change the time of day by going into your Options menu and selecting Time of Day.

What does changing the time of day do in Spider-Man 2?

Changing the time of day in previous Spider-Man games doesn’t really do anything other than give you a nice change of scene. With this feature, you can see the New York skyline at sunset or experience web-gliding through the city lights at night.
