Not to be confused with the multiplayer map, our Modern Warfare 3 Highrise mission walkthrough contains all there is to know about completing this particular level.

Thanks to campaign early access, Modern Warfare 3 players are finally getting their hands on the single-player and its diverse mission list packed with numerous trophies and achievements to earn along the way. This level is an Open Combat Mission, meaning you can utilise all styles of play to complete the objectives.

Modern Warfare 3 Highrise mission walkthrough

After gathering important intel from the Oligarch, Task Force 141 is in St. Petersburg as their search for Makarov continues. The mission kicks off with Gaz working his way through a multi-storey building purchased by the Konni Group leader.

Head down the corridor and you'll reach an elevator shaft guarded by a member of Konni Group. Choose a stealthy approach or simply blow them to smithereens with the shotgun. It's entirely your choice.

As it's early in the mission, there's no way of using an Ascender. Use the ladder next to the elevator cables to make your ascent further up the building. Thanks to the movement changes, it only takes a few seconds to reach the top.

At the top of the ladder is another dark corridor guarded by another patrolman. Either use the rooms on the left to avoid contact or eliminate him for a simple path straight through the hallway. We went for the loud approach this time around.

Continuing advancing up the floors, killing any enemies you encounter. There are plenty of supply boxes dotted around the rooms so keep your eyes peeled for any potentially powerful firearms as the mission continues.

Nolan will alert his team to your presence as you make it onto the seventh floor. Some will pop smoke grenades. Keep track of their laser sights to dispatch them within the fog.

Head up to the eighth floor. Look out for the yellow pieces of blanket that mean you can mantle up there. Move through each room until you come across a dark staircase littered with laser-guided booby traps. If you get close enough, you can disable them without taking any damage.

After tackling the explosives, head out through a broken window frame where there's a ledge. Next to it is a smaller ledge with a makeshift ramp that leads up to the tenth floor.

Once there, you're greeted with another wave of hostiles and a shipping container swinging in the breeze. Eliminate the threats and jump inside the container to get to the other side of the building.

Make your way to the other side of the room where several armoured soldiers will attempt to stop you from accessing the roof. This is the perfect time to use any grenades to break their armour as fast as possible.

Once on the roof, regroup with Price and prepare for the capture of Nolan.

After a firefight where armoured troops and riot shields will attempt to stop the capture, fire a non-lethal shot at Nolan to incapacitate him. Approach Makarov's right-hand man and get ready for an exfil.

As expected, more Konni Group members arrive to halt your progress. While carrying Nolan, you can only fire a pistol but you can place him on the ground to use a more powerful weapon while waiting for help to arrive.

With Nikolai on the way, attach Nolan to the cable. Grab any weaponry and ammunition to do battle against another wave of armoured opposition. Thankfully, there's plenty of cover on the rooftop if you ever get low on health.

Price instructs you to attach yourself to the cable along with Nolan. To escape the danger, you, Price, and Nolan fly off the building to safety.
