All Modern Warfare 3 campaign characters

The Modern Warfare 3 campaign characters are no strangers to the Call of Duty franchise. Modern Warfare 3 follows on from 2022's Modern Warfare 2 campaign, meaning the latest single-player storyline features many MW3 characters ranging from the likes of Captain Price, Soap MacTavish, and the return of an iconic villain.

Alongside these familiar faces, there's every chance you'll get to know a wealth of new characters once campaign early access gets underway.

Although the campaign isn't available to play yet, spoilers are already starting to surface. Despite this, the selection of characters isn't expected to differ much from previous releases. With that said, here's a full list of the know Modern Warfare 3 campaign characters:

The characters listed above are those that survived the events of 2022's Modern Warfare 2, and there's a high chance we'll see their faces when working through the mission list.

Task Force 141 is on the hunt for Konni Group leader Makarov. While he remains in custody, members of the group were last seen aboard a plane assembling a weapon in a bid to hijack a passenger plane. There's also a possibility of seeing characters such as Yuri and Sandman return from 2011's Modern Warfare 3, as this particular trilogy is set in a different timeline.

Soap MacTavish

It wouldn't be a Modern Warfare game without Soap MacTavish joining forces with Price and Ghost once again. As a key member of Task Force 141, MacTavish will be gearing up to prevent the Konni Group from executing their sinister plans.

Captain Price

Call of Duty's talismanic leader returns once again in Modern Warfare 3. Looking to take down Makarov once and for all, Price is bound to return to action. Will the Modern Warfare 3 campaign be the last dance for the Captain? We'll have to wait and see.

Gaz

Just like in Modern Warfare 2, Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick regroups with the 141 in Modern Warfare 3. Often under the command of Price, there's a chance Gaz gets himself into some perilous situations in order to stop the enemy from advancing.

General Shepherd

After conspiring against Task Force 141 in favour of Shadow Company, General Shepherd is bound to play a major role as the secondary antagonist in the Modern Warfare 3 campaign. Will he support the Konni Group in some capacity? Only time will tell.
