Will Immortals of Aveum have co-op?
So the simple answer is no. Immortals of Aveum will not contain a co-op mode. This game is completely based on a single-player experience where gamers take control of Jak, as he embarks on an adventurous journey to defeat the oppressive regime of the Rasharnian.
With an arsenal of magic weapons instead of typical firearm power, players must attempt to stop the generational Everwar that’s caused a serious divide when it comes to the harmony of the five kingdoms of Aveum.
This news may come as a surprise to some people, especially when you consider the fact that Ascendant Studios, the game’s developer, is comprised of staff members who have previously worked on Call of Duty - the insanely popular multiplayer co-op game which has received worldwide acclaim over the years gone by.
Nonetheless, this game was made to be played as a single-player, first-person magic shooter.
Will Immortals of Aveum have a multiplayer mode?
As specified on the frequently asked questions section of the game publisher’s website:
Immortals of Aveum is a single-player, first-person magic shooter.
Now, the developers at Ascendant Studio have not explicitly confirmed whether a multiplayer mode for this game will be made available once the post-launch phase of the title arrives, but we can confidently speculate that such a scenario is unlikely to happen.
So there you have it: Immortals of Aveum is a strictly solo-player experience. Some might be disappointed with this revelation, but in the day and age of countless battle royales and online shooters, it's quite intriguing to have a game come out that is based solely on single-player.
