The developers of Final Fantasy 16 showed a trailer where we can see different companions alongisde Clive Rosfield. Nobody knows which character can be controlled by you, but it is known for sure that you can play both as an adult and younger version of Clive. As for us, that’s a hint that both the gameplay and the plot of the game should be amazing.

There is some speculation as to whom you can control. For example, you will definitely be able to control the main protagonist Clive Rosfield. Also, we think that you may be able to play asJoshua Rosfield, the brother of Clive, Jill Warrick, the main female character, Cidolfus Telamon, Torgal, and Benedikta Harman.

The developers of Final Fantasy 16 shared with Game Watch that gamers will be able to see another playable character during the first hours of the playthrough. Some fans are sure that Final Fantasy 16 will feature Reks, one of the characters present in Final Fantasy 12.

So, there are still many questions about how many characters you can control in the game, but we know that you can play at least two characters. Other heroes from the Final Fantasy universe are unlikely to disappear, so we will potentially see them in parts of the new game.
