Final Fantasy XIV: How To Unlock The Samurai Class

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has been fairly popular for quite a while now, with part of its popularity due to the number of ways you can customize your character, with expansions adding even more options for players to partake in.

Being able to customize and upgrade your avatar’s look, class, and equipment isn’t exactly original MMORPG territory but Final Fantasy XIV does it so well that fans of the title can’t really complain about it, especially with all the fanservice.

Final Fantasy XIV: How To Unlock The Samurai Class

Samurais are one of the new Character Classes added to Final Fantasy XIV so getting it will require some work, especially if you’re just starting out.

Players will need the Stormblood expansion pass to gain access to it, and will also need to be Level 50 as a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic.

Once those requirements have been fulfilled, head to Ul’dah then go to the Steps of Nald where you’ll get a quest to talk to a citizen, before he sends you to the Gladiator’s Guild.

After arriving at the Gladiator’s Guild, head to the back room and talk to the old man on the floor, who will then award you with the Samurai Class after listening to his lengthy dialogue.

Unlike the Samurai Class in other Final Fantasy games, the one in Final Fantasy XIV is based on those loner samurai from Japanese history, which is pretty darn cool.

Anime fans who want to live their Rurouni Kenshin fantasies can do so with others in Final Fantasy XIV thanks to the Samurai Class.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now available on the PS4, PS5, and PC.
