Disconnected Error Solution in Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance

At time of writing there is no confirmed solution for the Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance “disconnected” error, where players will spontaneously disconnect from games and servers without warning. This glitch can happen whether you’re hosting or joining a mission, and is not a problem with the hardware at your end, but apparently an issue in the servers themselves.

While this means you don’t have to worry about problems with your internet or console, it does mean that there’s nothing you can do to fix this error from your own home. The developers have confirmed on Twitter that they are aware of it and are currently working on a solution.

In the meantime, the best we can suggest is to turn off the game and log back in. Though hardly a fool proof solution, it may mean that you’ll be attached to a server that’s more reliable than whatever one you were on previously.

Alternatively, simply leave the game for a while and come back. Users have reported having trouble with disconnection at different times, so it’s possible that if things are particularly bad, waiting might allow you to return to Icewind Dale at a different time.

Of course, we don’t mean Icewind the Dragon. Though if you want to know how to beat Icewind the Dragon in Dark Alliance, check out our guide here! Or if you want to know how to change all the difficulty aspects, check here!
