Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer game, so playing as the killer will grant you immense power while the other players try to fight you off with the power of friendship. However, you won’t be able to just brute force your way through these Survivors, so you will need to have a game plan in mind when starting a match.

Dead by Daylight The Unknown abilities and perks

Since you won’t have backup as a Killer in Dead by Daylight, you’ll have to rely on the tools in your skill set. Here are all of The Unknown’s abilities and perks.

Power

The Unknown’s power is called UVX. When activated, pressing the attack button will launch a bouncing explosive that will create a blast area on impact.

Survivors hit with the explosive while it’s airborne will become hindered. If caught in the blast area, Survivors will become weakened and lose health states. The Weakened status can be countered by staring down The Unknown.

Abilities

• Hallucinations - The Unknown will intermittently create Hallucinations while charging UVX, interacting with elements, and standing near map objects. The spawn time for Hallucinations will be reduced by 10 seconds while Survivors are in a weakened state.
• Teleport - Using this ability will teleport The Unknown to one of the Hallucinations while leaving behind a decoy. Survivors can use Dispel to get rid of Hallucinations. Failing to complete the use of Dispel will inflict Weakened on a Survivor and trigger Killer Instinct.

Perks

• Unbound - Gain 5% Haste for 10 seconds after vaulting a window. Activates up to 30 seconds after a Survivor becomes injured.
• Unforeseen - By breaking a Generator, the Terror Radius transfers to the Generator for up to 30 seconds with a 32-metre radius. The Undetectable perk can be activated with a 30-second cooldown during this time.
• Undone – Gain three tokens up to a maximum of 30. Breaking a Generator will consume all of your tokens. The Generator will lose 1% of progress and get blocked for 1 second for every token consumed. The Generator will start to regress when unblocked. This perk has a cooldown of 60 seconds.
