To solve the Assassin's Creed Mirage Serpent's Nest book puzzle, you have to place the tomes in the correct order based on a poem. This whole segment occurs in the final mission in the Round City district of Baghdad, where you'll need to take out Qabiha, the Head of the Order of the Ancients.
Upon reaching the second floor of the Palace of the Green Dome, you'll gain access to a library. There's a tome that you need to read, and it contains clues that help unlock Qabiha's secret chamber.

Read the book near the steps to discover these passages:
Rage as the ocean, I'll sweeten your storms.
Scorch as the desert, I'll bathe in your heart.
Strike as the cobra, but plunge in my breast.
Soar as the dove, but alight in my nest.
Where you go, there I'll go.
Where you rest, there I'll rest.
Key words in the poem refer to the colours of tomes: ocean/blue, desert/yellow, cobra/black, and dove/white.
Book puzzle solution
To solve the Assassin's Creed Mirage book puzzle, you'll want to go up the steps and gather the tomes. You'll also notice diagrams on the top walls just across from you, drawings that refer to the key words in the poem.
In any case, you should place the books in the following order from right to left (i.e. from the steps going to the other side of the corridor):
- Blue book
- Yellow book
- Black book
- White book
