At the time of writing, there's no sign of the Season 16 patch notes but numerous leaks have reportedly revealed some of the content and changes arriving to the game.
According to Apex insider ThordanSmash, Season 16 will focus on balancing the game and will not release a new Legend to the ever-expanding selection. This marks the first post-launch season where a new Legend won't appear. This might disappoint some players, but there's still plenty of content making its way to the battle royale.
Just like previous seasons, expect a brand-new battle pass packed with content and potential adjustments to the current pool of weapons available in Care Packages and through crafting.
Apex Legends Season 16 guns
Data miners have uncovered plenty of unreleased guns in recent weeks. There's every possibility Season 16 sees the introduction of a brand-new SMG in addition to the leaked Nemesis Burst assault rifle that may spark change within the current meta.

When is Apex Legends Season 16?
Respawn Entertainment is yet to reveal an official release date for the new season but based on the battle pass countdown clock, we can estimate when the season will begin.
Season 15 is set to end on February 14 meaning the new season could start on Valentine's Day. If not, there's a good chance it starts on February 15. Typically, the patch notes appear a few days prior so you can familiarise yourself with the adjustments before dropping into the action.
