Best Perks for Star-lord

Perks can be costly to create, we have a guide on how to craft perks that shows how costly they can be. As you progress in the game, you will naturally get more and more components but at the very beginning, they're barely enough to cover the cost of a perk. This is why it's a good idea to know which ones are the better options for you to spend your hard-earned component parts on.

Components Localiser

Function: Locates crafting components through tracking feedback and additional visor support.

This perk will make finding components to craft other perks much easier. It's essentially a guide in the game that will tell you when you're near components and where to find them. Outside of your visor, if you are near components, a small blue diamond will appear in the top corner of your screen. Once you see this, if you go into your visor you should see that the components have been highlighted.

This perk means that you'll be less likely to miss valuable parts in each level and it will save you time as you will not need to look around at potentially empty areas.

Air Glide

Function: Glide around targets for a short time while shooting.

For this perk to activate, you need to jump up, aim and fire at exactly the same time.

This perk can get you out of trouble for a brief amount of time. When you're taking on masses of enemies, it can be easy to find yourself getting overwhelmed and this perk will help. If you activate this skill in Peter's skill-wheel, it will allow you to hover above the battlefield for a short amount of time. You will have a strategic advantage against enemies on the ground as you can shoot while gliding. Also, it means you can fight enemies that glide on their own level which can make it easier to defeat them.

Charge Consumption

Function: Consume less charge when firing Element guns

As you go through the game, your Blasters will evolve to be able to shoot 4 different elements as well as their usual ammunition. You will only have a limited amount of shots when you use the elemental ammunition and you will need to wait for it to recharge before you can use it again. This perk will reduce the amount of charge that you use which can mean you will be able to use elemental ammunition more in battle.

This perk is also very useful because elemental ammunition is very powerful and effective against almost every enemy you come up against. It's a good idea to invest in this perk as soon as possible.
