At the very start of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill and Rocket make a bet to prove who is the best shot out of them both. This bet will span through most of Chapter 1 but it can be a bit tricky to win when you first play through it. We're going to show you how to win the bet with Rocket.

How To Win the Bet With Rocket
To win the bet against Rocket in Chapter 1 you will need to shoot more of the Nests than Rocket does. It sounds simple enough but there are a lot of them hidden throughout the Chapter that Rocket will shoot if you miss them.
Luckily, you will be able to keep track of the score as Rocket has hacked into your Visor and an arcade-like scoreboard will be at the top of your screen throughout the bet.
1. Aim Properly
You can look around and press your fire button at anything in the area but if you want to win against Rocket, you will need to aim first. Check which control/command is the aim one for your platform and try to keep your fingers hovering over it throughout the level. When you spot a nest, the chances are Rocket will see it too. By keeping your fingers above the aim command you will be able to shoot it faster and more importantly, more accurately than he will.
2. Use Your Visor
The environment in the Quarantine Zone is highly detailed which means it can be hard to spot the nests with your naked eye until you're close to them. Also, Rocket can run ahead and destroy them before you even knew they existed which is why using your visor is not a bad thing. Yes, Rocket will get irritated at you for using it but the Visor will scan the environment and highlight the nests. This can mean you find and destroy them before Rocket does, which will put you in a good position to win the bet.
3. In the Sentinel, Explore Quickly!
Near the end of your bet you will end up inside of an old sentinel robot and the head will be filled with nests. In here you will need to explore it and shoot any nest you see very quickly. Rocket tends to follow a path on a single level inside the head but there are several levels and ledges that you can reach. All you need to do is make sure that you're shooting any nest that you see before moving on to another level. Also, in the head, there will be nests that have formed on the underside of the platforms so make sure to look all around you as Rocket can miss these.

What Happens if You Win the Bet?
If your score is better than Rocket's when you reach the room with the nest at the center of it, you will have won the bet. When you win, you get bragging rights and the glory of knowing that you beat Rocket! Also if you win, it will be used to taunt him occasionally throughout the game.
