The Contract DLC update for GTA Online has another surprise up its sleeve, you can play as Franklin and Lamar! Franklin and Lamar are two iconic characters from the original GTAV storyline. How To Play as Franklin and Lamar
To play as Franklin and Lamar, you first need to unlock Record A Studios. Once you have done this, you will eventually get a phone call from Franklin that invites you to the studios. Head over there and watch the cut scene pan out (which is essentially you smoking at the studios).
After the cut scene ends, you will have access to the short missions where you can play as Franklin or Lamar. However, it's worth mentioning that these missions cannot be done solo and are designed as a two-player co-op. To access the short missions at any time, all you need to do is head back to Record A Studios and go into the weed room to trigger them.
What Are the Franklin and Lamar Missions?
The missions are a 2-player co-op centred around you being able to play as Franklin and Lamar. Through 3 action-packed missions, you help Lamar with some problems he's been having at LD Organics. This leads you to a shoot-out with the Vagos, sabotaging a major weed stash and staging an ambush.
