July 15 - Update Confirmed: On July 20, the underground tuner scene in Los Santos roars to life with the launch of GTA Online: Los Santos Tuners DLC.
Original Story - The GTA Online Summer Update will release on July 20, that's according to TezFunz2, one of the game's foremost leakers/fountains of knowledge.
According to Tez2, the games most recent GTA Online Weekly Update has more or less confirmed the start time for the games next DLC download.
That's because the event week which went live this morning has an end time set for Tuesday, July 20.
Event weeks will typically run Thursday to Thursday and for (normally) one week.
The existing event week lasts longer than the standard 7 days and ends on a Tuesday, which is typically when GTA Online updates are released.
So we should probably expect an official announcement or news post from Rockstar Games on the newswire later today.
Rockstar officially announced the Summer Update for GTA Online back in May, but details were thin on the ground.
