Lusting after cars is nothing new for GTA Online players, whose automobile-based revelry has reached a point at which they’re regularly assembling car collections that resemble the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or accidentally buying the same SUV twice.
That said, despite already having access to everything from the jet-powered Scramjet to the submersible Toreador, it seems some players still want more options when it comes to filling out their garages.
They’ve neatly packaged this wishlist in a Reddit thread, which we’re sure Rockstar will consult when Christmas comes around, assuming that the players aren’t on the naughty list.
GTA Petrolheads Lay Out Their Deepest Desires
This is the topic of a recent thread in the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a user asking: “What car do you want to see in GTA Online? I want to see (the) Bugatti EB110.”
Some of the top suggestions were Top Gear related, with user ItzTr1kSh0t singling out the infamous tiny Peel P50, to which iluminattipa added: “I want it to be (in the) muscle category so we can wheelie.”
Along a similar path was RiddleJimmy’s request for more reasonably priced rides, with them saying: “I want to see more regular, cheap (less than $300K in-game) cars which are somewhat classics. (The) Renault 5 for example, or some weird less known local cars.”
Sadly, many players seem to think this option isn’t one that Rockstar will take, especially price-wise, with the user who began the tread pointing out: “I doubt that any new car will cost $300k today. Even (the) freaking (Volkswagen) Golf cost $1.2 million” and marksk88 adding: “dude, a freaking go-kart costs over $900k.”
Other quirky real-world cars that received shoutout amongst the sea of performance options were the Reliant Robin and the BMW Isetta, with user lselite1 saying of the former: “that car would be beyond hilarious to mess around with in Los Santos” and Ducksoup_RBLX suggesting of the latter: “guaranteed it's gonna get a cult following just like the Faggio”.
Meanwhile, user blackhawk_1111had an equally unusual idea, saying: “my friend and I want a motorbike with a sidecar”, to which Pharthurax added: “(there would be) so many possibilities with that thing”.
