Most of the hardcore Bethesda RPG fans who’ve invested thousands of hours into Skyrim and Fallout 4 can't wait for the release of Starfield.

Some have been passing the time until September by creating tabletop RPGs that allow people to take an early trip into space, or kicking off the process of preparing to make some mods for the game, at least one of which could be particularly heartwarming.

Others have decided to re-watch June’s Starfield Direct, searching for subtle details they might have originally missed or putting together massive documents about its mechanics. If, despite doing this, you’ve still got some key things you want to know about the game before delving into it, you’re in luck.

Is there anything you want to ask Starfield’s developers about the game?

As announced via the official Starfield Twitter account, two of the game’s developers, Lead Quest Designer Will Shen and Studio Design Director Emil Pagliarulo, will be fielding questions on the game via Discord on August 16.

The Q&A session will be taking place at 6PM BST/1PM ET in a specially designated channel on the official Bethesda Game Studios Discord server, which is only available to those who’ve signed up to be a member of Constellation using their Bethesda.net accounts.

If you choose to become a member, which is free to do via Starfield’s official website, you’ll also have the chance to submit a question.

Though, submissions close on August 11, so you’ll have to make sure you don’t hang around if you’re desperate to ask how many sandwiches it’ll be possible to fit in your ship’s cargo hold simultaneously without snookering its handling.

Some of the queries fans have already submitted concern things like how bounty hunting will work in the game, exactly how many recruitable companions it contains, and whether moon rovers or submersibles are being considered for future updates to it.

One fan has also asked about Todd Howard’s daily diet, so you might be in for some juicy details about everyone’s favourite ex-chess club member.

Regardless of whether you’re keen to potentially find out what big Todd’s average dinner looks like, make sure to follow us for lots of guides to Starfield’s world and mechanics.
