While some GTA 5 players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer.

One way to do just that is to dive into the interesting world of mods, which can fill the game with everything from Baywatch-inspired missions to Yakuza Zero-style disco dancing and even transform offline GTA 5 into a single player version of GTA Online.

If you’re a player who generally prefers gallivanting across the open plains of Red Dead Redemption 2 to driving around the urban sprawls of GTA Online and LA Noire, a number of new mods might be what you need to transform Los Santos into something that better fits your tastes.

Fancy donning a stetson to solve San Andreas’ zombie problem?

The first of the mods in question is called ‘VineWorld - The Only Zombies Map You'll Ever Need [Map Editor | YMAP]’ and is the work of modder AKATD.

They’ve decided to give the section of Vinewood between Michael and Franklin’s houses a makeover that’ll fit perfectly with sollaholla’s uber-popular ‘Simple Zombies [.NET]’, providing: “a weathered, apocalyptic feel with enough subtly added greenery, debris and wrecks that if you are driving through an area that hasn't yet loaded the zombies, you (should) still feel (fully) immersed in an apocalyptic world.”

As you can see in the clip above, the mod fills the streets of Los Santos with plenty of cover to duck behind as you battle the undead menace with your armaments of choice.

If you’re a big fan of Red Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare expansion and can’t stomach taking on zombies without first donning the guise of a wild west-style vaquero, you're also in luck, with SirDesse’s ‘John Marston outfit for MP Male’ providing the clothes you’ll need to do so.

Add in DoctorMike & TheRaf3D1’s ‘Scorpion Revolver [Add-On]’, an ornate hand-cannon inspired by Red Dead Revolver, as your weapon of choice and your zombie-killing antics might really start to elicit some nostalgic vibes.

Make sure you check the descriptions of all of these mods to ensure that you’ve grabbed all of the requirements to get them up and running as intended.
