With the covid-19 virus keeping everyone in their homes, we look to some fun, and free-to-play games on console, mobile, and PC, to keep us occupied.

Be sure to bookmark this page, as we'll be adding more to the list shortly!

Here's a list of the free to play games during self-isolation:

Watchdogs (PC)

Free on the Epic Gamestore for a few more days, if you're a fan of that other open-world sandbox game that gives you the freedom to do anything (which isn't free right now,) then you're going to love this.

Watchdogs puts you in the shoes of Aiden Pearce, a hacker with a major chip on his shoulder.

The thing that separates this game from all of the other open-world games out there, is the ability to hack anything using your phone.

Being pursued by the police? No problem! Hack the traffic lights to cause traffic accidents. Low on cash? Not to worry, you can hack random pedestrians and steal directly from their bank accounts.

You can get the game free from the Epic Gamestore here.

Check out the gameplay video below if, for some reason, you need more convincing.

Call of Duty: Warzone (PS4, Xbox, and PC)

Recently released, Call of Duty: Warzone is gearing up to be one of the most popular battle royale games, boasting over 30 million players during its first 10 days.

If you're a fan of Call of Duty, and enjoy the battle royale genre, this free-to-play FPS is for you on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

PlayStation users can also jump on this game WITHOUT PS Plus.

Football Manager 2020 (PC)

Football Manager 2020 is free until the 1st April!

The popular football management simulation continues to fill the void when football isn't on and with it not returning for a few months, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved.

Run your football club, your way. Every decision counts in Football Manager 2020 with new features and polished game mechanics rewarding planning and progression like never before, empowering managers to develop and refine both your club’s and your own unique identity.

League of Legends (PC)

League of Legends is a fast-paced, competitive online game that blends the speed and intensity of an RTS with RPG elements.

Two teams of powerful champions, each with a unique design and playstyle, battle head-to-head across multiple battlefields and game modes.

Fortnite (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mobile, Switch)

Does this one really need explaining?

If you haven't jumped on Epic Games Battle Royale by now, what have you been doing all of this time?! Chapter 2 Season 2 is by far the most intriguing season yet.

The game is on EVERY platform and features cross-platform play across all devices.

Legends of Runeterra (PC)

Riot's 2020 gaming takeover starts with their digital card game Legends of Runeterra.

The game is currently in beta and delivers a new take on the genre. With the game based on the world of League of Legends, you'll be very familiar with what's in front of you.

Team Fight Tactics (PC and Mobile)

Yet another Riot game, Team Fight Tactics is an auto battler game set in the League of Legends universe.

Very similar to Dota 2's Auto Chess, set in the League of Legends a multitude of players compete in quick head-to-head battles to claim victory.

Last week, this game released on mobile AND features cross-play with PC.

Apex Legends (PS4, Xbox, and PC)

Dipping back into the battle royale genre, Apex Legends is a game that sees legendary competitors battle for glory, fame, and fortune on the fringes of the Frontier.

The guns are satisfying and the choice of characters is expansive.

The game (like most battle royale titles) is regularly updated, ensuring players never have the same experience twice.

Raid: Shadow Legends (PC and Mobile)

If you regularly use YouTube, you will without a doubt have seen an ad for this PC and mobile game.

It is a fantasy-themed, turn-based role-playing gacha game.

The game's story takes place in the fictional realm of Teleria, which has been subjugated by the Dark Lord Siroth.

Players take the role of an ancient Telerian warrior resurrected to defeat the Dark Lord and restore peace and harmony to the territory.

Players must assemble an army for battles in settings such as castles, dungeons, deserts and temples defended by enemies and possible allies.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (Mobile)

Animal Crossing New Horizons released only three days ago, and with Amazon prioritising medical supplies in its warehouses, some fans are still yet to grab themselves a copy.

Luckily, this free-to-play mobile game is just as wholesome, and will warm the soul with its aesthetically pleasing environment, and satisfying tasks.

Gwent (PS4, Xbox, Mobile, and PC)

When The Witcher 3 released, it became apparent early on that this game was special.

The most addictive part of the game was the minigame, Gwent, a simple card game that offered its own side-quests.

Players would traipse all across the Continent playing pros and noobs alike for money and new cards as a reward.

The new standalone game takes everything we loved about the Witcher 3 minigame and builds on it in clever and creative ways.

Shadow of the Colossus & Sonic Forces (PS4)

If you're subscribed to Playstation Plus, this month, you can net yourself two absolute classics.

Shadow of the Colossus is a single-player, narrative-driven game, with twists and turns that will pull on your heartstrings.

Whilst Sonic Forces is a warm blanket of nostalgia, with a fresh coat of paint and a well-written story to boot.

You can add these games to your library to own them for life.

DC Universe Online (PS4, Xbox, and PC)

Whether you want to be a hero that's half robot, half clown, with super strength, or you want to be a reptile-like villain that can jump over buildings, and burn people with laser eyes, this game has you covered.

Set in... you might have guessed it... the DC Universe, this MMORPG will have you tearing up cities you'll recognise, while fighting your opposition to ensure your chosen faction reigns supreme.

In addition to this, you and your friends will be given tasks by some familiar faces from the DC Universe.

Runescape (Mobile and PC)

Recently released on Android and iPhone, Runescape is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game, that will consume all of your time if you're not careful.

A huge amount of skills to train in, thousands of different enemy types, tonnes of ever-evolving loot to collect, and a fully functional economy powered by real players buying, selling and trading.

This game is huge, and has the most amount of content in this list.

Hitman 2 (PS4, Xbox, and PC)

If you haven't played either of the newer Hitman games, you can download the first mission to try it out.

Although it's only one mission, there's a slew of creative ways to take down your target.

There's a good 10 hours of gameplay here, especially if you're a perfectionist.

Warframe (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch)

Warframe is a third-person online RPG multiplayer game.

Players control members of the Tenno, a race of ancient warriors who have awoken from centuries of cryosleep far into Earth's future to find themselves at war in the planetary system with different factions.

The game includes elements from shooters, RPG and stealth games - there's no excuse not to give this one a go!

Brawlhalla (PS4, Switch, Xbox One & PC)

This fighting game is very comparable to Super Smash Bros, in which the aim of the game is to knock your opponents off of the stage.

As players take more damage the further they will go when attacked.

The game features local and online multiplayer with a number of different modes to play!

Tetris 99 (Switch)

Think battle royale...but with Tetris!

Tetris 99 has up to 99 players competing simultaneously to complete rows with falling tetrominoes, which in turn send attacks in the form of "garbage rows" to other players with the goal of knocking them out of the game.

Arguably the most popular FPS in existence with a pedigree that echos throughout gaming.

The game will pit players on one of two sides - terrorists and counter-terrorists. The terrorists need to play their bomb on one of two sites, while the CTs try to stop them.

Destiny 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Bungie's online multiplayer shooter is set in a "mythic science fiction" world, the game features a multiplayer "shared-world" environment with elements of role-playing games.

Like the original, activities in Destiny 2 are divided among player versus environment (PvE) and player versus player (PvP) game types.

With a new season recently launching and the return of Trials of Osiris, it's worth jumping back in!

Hearthstone (PC and Mobile)

Blizzard's Heroes of Warcraft themed card game allows players to enjoy their favourite characters in a different way.

The tactical game will see you building decks to complement your hero and conquer online.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Despite being 12 years old, the game is still incredibly popular.

The MMORPG, based on the Star Wars universe, sees the story take place in the Star Wars universe shortly after the establishment of a tenuous peace between the re-emergent Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic.

Players join as members of either of the two main factions – the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Although each faction is led by a benevolent or malevolent leader, it is emphasized that an individual member may possess a morality at any point along the light/dark spectrum.
