Bud the Mushroom is one of the most cutest characters that we've seen in Fortnite for a while now. Bud was removed from Fortnite a while back but after the Fortnite 18.30 update, he made a nice little come back in the game again.
That being said, it's slightly difficult to come across this guy if you don't know where to look. So here's our very own location guide on where to find Bud the Mushroom Fortnite Season 8.
Bud the Mushroom Fortnite location
In order to come across Bud the Mushroom, you need to make your way to Madcap. This character spawns at a barn near Corny Crops.
The map below shows Madcap's location.
Bud the Mushroom can be found in the vicinity of Madcap. This mushroom will be sleeping so in order to interact with it, you will have to emote in front of it.
The only downside to this is that Bud won't follow you around like he used to previously. Nor will he be able to heal you. Bud will just dance with you and that is about it.
That being said, there are other mushrooms that can be found near Bud. These mushrooms can be consumed. And this is probably the only time I'd recommend consuming wild mushrooms!
That being said, this is a nice little gag that Fortnite has going. It's a slight disappointing to not have Bud follow me around but at least the little guy is in the game!
