How to Get the Batarang Axe Pickaxe in Fortnite

Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #6 hits shelves on July 6, 2021, and with it comes another great Batman-themed cosmetic item for Fortnite players.

This is the last issue of the Batman/Fortnite crossover, and those readers who have collected all six will also recieve the Armored Batman Zero skin.

Exclusive cosmetic item codes are only available in the physical comics and digital comics distributed through DC Universe Infinite.

Digital comics purchased from third-party sites, such as Comixology, will not have redeemable codes.

How to Get the Deathstroke Destroyer Glider

Fortnite players looking to obtain the exclusive Batarang Axe Pickaxe in Fortnite need to get their hands on a copy of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #6 from their local comic store or through DC Universe Infinite.

Once they have their issue, they can redeem the included code by following these directions, provided by epicgames.com:

1. Visit fortnite.com/redeem.
2. Select Your Preferred Platform or “Sign In With Epic Games” if you already have an Epic Account.
   1. Verify that you are logged into the correct account.
   2. You should see a display name in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Enter or copy/paste the code as-is into the “Enter Access Code” text field.
4. Select “REDEEM."
5. Verify the item you are redeeming and select “ACTIVATE."
6. Launch Fortnite with the same Epic account.
7. Select Battle Royale.
8. Upon loading in, you will receive a gift box showing your unlocked cosmetics. You can select EQUIP or CLAIM to close. Cosmetics will then be available in your Locker.

Fortnite fans will have until May 1, 2025, to redeem their codes before they become invalid.

For players who can not get their hands on a physical or digital copy of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #6, Catwoman's Grapple Pickaxe will be in the Item Shop the day the comic is released.

As with any other Fortnite redeemable code, each code is only able to be used once.

Be careful purchasing physical copies of the comic off 3rd party sites.

Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point Crossover

The Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point crossover is a canon Fortnite story where the caped crusader, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and other Fortnite characters find themselves clashing on Apollo Island, with events in-game and in the comics happening simultaneously.

The comics will answer questions about the Island, and Zero Point, that Fortnite players have speculated about since the game's conception.

Batman has long been a part of Donald Mustard's plans for Fortnite, and talks with DC have been going on since before the game's release.

Each issue of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point costs $3.99 USD, or is included as part of the $7.99 a month DC Universe Unlimited plan.
