The following contains spoilers for Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #4. Stop reading now if you do not wish to know details of the story contained within the issue.

Issue #4 of DC Comic's Batman and Fortnite crossover is the same length as the first three issues and starts to answer more and more questions about Fortnite's Island, Loop, and what lies beneath the surface of the battleground

The issue opens up right where the last left off, with Batman escaping the loop only to be confronted with Deathstroke holding a gun to Catwoman's head.

The twist here is that Deathstroke is not the enemy, and there is no battle between the Dark Knight and the legendary assassin.

Instead, Batman finds himself confronteded by a ground of Loop escapees, still stuck on Apollo Island.

They have regained their ability to speak, as well as all the memories they experienced during their time in the Loop.

Unfortunately, their memories from before the Loop are still gone.

Raider, the first known escapee is joined by Magnus, Fishstick, Bandolette, Bonehead, and Voyager, each joining forces even though they can remember killing each other over and over again while stuck in the Loop.

Batman quickly takes the lead, figuring out how to open mysterious latches on the island that lead to underground staging areas filled with deadly golems, as well as tech from various eras throughout time.

Batman/Fortnite #4 brings a lot of what fans are familiar with in Fortnite into the comic.

Events are mentioned, and everything explained makes much more sense as to how come characters on the Island can speak and have memories outside of the Loop.

Now the team just needs to figure out which one of them is working with the Founders of the Island, because it has become obvious one of them has knowledge the others do not.

Fortnite characters take a bit more of a frontline role in Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #4.

As mentioned above, Renegade Raider, Magnus, Fishstick, Bandolette, Bonehead, and Voyager are among the group of Loop escapees, each with speaking roles that introduce each of them.

With only two issues left to go, what other characters will fans get to see?

EPIC: More than just a company

Each issue of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point has been better than the last up to this point, with issue #4 answering even more questions about Fortnite and the Island than each of its previous issues.

The twist of Deathstroke not being an enemy (for now) was an interesting one, and the actual introduction of Fortnite characters was a great moment in the series.

It is amazing how quickly Batman is able to figure out the secrets of the Island when other escapees have been around for as long as four years, though he is the world's greatest detective.

This issue, while answering a ton of questions, leaves readers with even more creating much more anticipation for the last two issues of the series and what they will reveal.

Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point is certainly keeping up at a good clip after a slow start with its first issue.

By the end of June, all will be revealed.
