Along with Sledghammer and Ember, Shadow Ops is going to be the third NPC to be introduced in Fortnite Season 8. With Fortnitemares 2021 coming to an end, most loopers have returned to the grind and the new challenges presented by these new NPCs definitely remind us all about what Fortnite's island is all about.
Needless to say, before getting started with Shadow Ops questline, the player will need to interact with the NPC on the island. However, as we realised soon after the hotfix, the NPC hasn't yet arrived on the island. Nevertheless, it is expected that Shadow Ops will be introduced to the island very soon.
Having said that, let's dive in and check out all the challenges available in the Shadow Ops questline in Fortnite Season 8.
Shadow Ops Questline in Fortnite Season 8
Given that Shadow Ops is still not available on the island, it remains to be seen where Epic Games chooses to place the NPC. With that being said, there are five different quests available for players to complete in this specific questline.
These challenges include:
- Visit any of the Guardian Towers at Misty Meadows, Retail Row, Weeping Woods, Believer Beach, Pleasant Park, or Corny Crops.
- Collect one round of light ammo, medium ammo, and shells.
- Cause 150 shotgun damage to Cube Monsters in The Sideways
- Get a headshot with a pistol
- Eliminate an opponent with an SMG
Completing these five taks will allow players to complete all the challenges available in the Shadow Ops Questline in Fortnite Season 8.
Nevertheless, players will have to wait until and unless the NPC is eventually revealed on the island before getting started with the leaked questlines.
