Fortnite has been very forthcoming about bringing back certain LTMs. We have seen Floor is Lava, Pickaxe Frenzy returned earlier this month, and One Shot returned today. However, some were taken out that were really fun.
I'm talking about 50 vs 50, which was an incredible experience. The situation was similar to a real war zone, and it was hard to track who was where and avoid dying. Fortnite thankfully brought it back.
Fortnite brings back 50 vs 50 LTM
Although Fortnite is known for its Battle Royale mode, players also enjoy Long-Term Missions because they offer a change of pace from the usual BR mode. As a result of the v17.20 update, several LTMs were introduced. Several loopers have even requested that some of the popular LTMs return to Fortnite.
Fortnite's first LTM was the 50v50. Gaming enthusiasts often seek out opportunities to play LTM whenever they can, making it one of the most popular LTMs in history. It's been a while since we've had the 50v50 LTM.
Nonetheless, Epic recently announced that 50v50 LTM would return for the Fortnite tournaments. September 4th, 2021, is the date set for this coveted event. Several months are left until the event takes place, so gamers have to wait patiently for a while until they can enter the popular LTM.
The schedule for the LTM tournaments is as follows:
- August 14th - Super Knockback (Solo)
- August 21st - Zone Wars (Solo)
- August 28th - Joyride
- September 4th - 50v50 (Squads)
A few other Level Up Minigames are available before 50v50 comes out in September, so players should hop on those.
