We've all been eagerly waiting for the Man of Steel to finally make it to Fortnite Season 7. He's been announced as the battle pass skin for this season, and I'm sure everyone is more than excited to try this skin out.
However, there are two variants of the Superman Fortnite skin that we'll be seeing during this season. Before we go on to that, there is supposed to be a small hotfix which will result in the skin going live.
That hotfix, known as the Fortnite 17.31 hotfix is scheduled to bring a few other items to the game as well.
Everything we know about the new Fortnite hotfix
First things first, the Fortnite update today won't have any downtime. That's the usual nature of hotfixes. If you still cannot play the game, you might want to troubleshoot your network.

That being said, the Fortnite update today will finally welcome Man of Steel to the island. At the time of writing this article, the Superman Fortnite skin is scheduled to go live in 4 hours.
Not only the skin, the associated quests are also supposed to go live around that time. Surprisingly enough, the Superman Fortnite skin is going live two days before it's scheduled date.
I'm not sure if this is a case of pure coincidence, or if there is a plan here. But we still get to play with the Superman Fortnite skin early, so that shouldn't be an issue.
The Superman Fortnite skin is locked behind a set of challenges. You need to complete them in order to unlock this skin. Here is a list of all the challenges related to the Superman Fortnite skin.
Secondly, the Fortnite update today will also bring the prop gun a.k.a. the Prop-ifier to the game. As mentioned before, even this weapon should go live in about 4 hours.
I'm still not sure where this weapon will be available, but I'm guessing we'll be able to find it in the I.O. chests for the most part. No other content is expected with this minor hotfix.
Finally, after the Fortnite 17.30 hotfix, the aliens will have completely abducted Slurpy Swamps. There goes an easy way of gaining health and shields during the early game.
