For those Fortnite fans looking to get a little more XP this Season, Epic will be announcing some XP buffs for Battle Royale on September 28, 2021.
Hopefully this will help players level up a bit faster since Epic cut the amount of XP earned from Imposter Mode by half!
The Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass
Release date
As per standard protocol, the Fortnite Season 8 battle pass went live after the Fortnite downtime ended.
The current battle pass will extend until the season ends. Currently, that date has been set at December 5th.
However, that date could change.
Battle pass price
The Fortnite Season 8 battle pass is priced at 950 V-Bucks. And it's a steal deal for the number of cosmetics that you can get from the entire set.
Most importantly, if you do invest in the Fortnite Season 8 battle pass, you needn't worry about investing for the next one because you earn a specific amount of V-Bucks by leveling up the battle pass.
And the amount that you earn is enough to get you the battle pass of the next season too.
Skins
The fact that Naruto wasn't a part of the battle pass is sad. But then again, he'll be released separately so that's fine.
What's surprising is the presence of the Carnage skin in the battle pass. The entire community thought that the Carnage skin would be released as a bundle in the item shop.
However, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Page 10: Carnage character outfit + Carnage Cleaver pickaxe
The secret skin could be the Queen but it's locked. Other than that, there are a few bonus styles as well. However, those are locked. And you would need to hit level 100 on your Battle Pass before you can unlock that page.
Data miners have tried to clear up the secret character image a bit, coming up with the above image.
Could the secret character be the Queen unmasked, or another character altogether?
Other cosmetics
Like every other battle pass, the Fortnite Season 8 battle pass features skins and their respective Back Bling, Gliders, and Pickaxes.
And these items are located on almost every page of the battle pass itself!
