Despite the initially disastrous launch, Bethesda's not given up on Fallout 76. Having released several expansions, this Fallout prequel marked Bethesda Game Studios' first multiplayer game, seeing players explore an open world ravaged by nuclear war.
Letting you play with a party of four, you might be wondering whether you can join players on other platforms through cross-platform multiplayer, better known as cross-play. If you're curious about whether Fallout 76 supports it, here's everything we know.
Fallout 76 - What Platforms Is It On?
Since launching in 2018, Fallout 76 has made its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PC (via Steam) and through backwards compatibility, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S too.
At this time, there's no confirmation on whether it'll get native Series X|S and PS5 ports, though considering Bethesda's done this for DOOM: Eternal and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on both platforms, we wouldn't rule it out.
Fallout 76 - Does It Support Cross-Platform Play?
Three years since launch, Fallout 76 doesn't feature cross-platform multiplayer. If you're on PC, you can play with other PC players, regardless of which store they bought Fallout 76 through, but console players are out of luck.
Though it could always happen later on, Bethesda hasn't given any indication this will happen. Should that change though, we'll update this accordingly.
