Fable Reboot Will Use ForzaTech for the In-Game Engine

After many people have been discussing what engine the new Fable Reboot will use, it looks like rumors will come to an end as they will be using the ForzaTech engine made to run the graphically intense Forza games.

A new job listing on the Turn 10 Studios LinkedIn profile, states that they will be working with the engine to support an open-world RPG, and specifically name Fable.

"Do you want to have a major impact on 3 AAA titles in development across 2 beloved Xbox franchises? ForzaTech is the engine, tools, and pipelines that drive both the Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon series of games. In addition to adding new features like raytracing to support the next console generation, we are also enriching the toolset to support an open-world action RPG – Fable."

The job listing is for a software engineer who will work on the technology that will be transformed to fit into the RPG world of Fable, despite being made for a racing game.
