As you might've expected, getting around Elden Ring with any element of ease is not going to be without labour. The hauntingly beautiful world has been crafted by game director Hidetaka Miyazaki, with writing from Game of Thrones author, George R.R. Martin, and a lot of mechanics borrowed from prior FromSoftware games.

A common mechanic that some players who have chosen to use magic will be messing around with is spells, sorceries, and incantations. In particular, a popular pick amongst spells in Elden Ring is the Comet Azur spell. This spell conjures a huge comet that deals a significant amount of damage from a distance to your target.

The Comet Azur spell is undoubtedly one that'll make combat at a longer range feel significantly easier. So, without further ado, here's where you can find the Comet Azur spell in Elden Ring.

How to Get Comet Azur Spell in Elden Ring

To put it simply, the Comet Azur spell can be found in Hermit Village, which is in Mt. Gelmir. However, it's not necessarily too easy to get to. The village itself is southwest of Mt. Gelmir, but requires you to traverse all around the mountain to actually reach it.

Make your way to Seethwater River, and then head north from here towards Volcano Manor. When you're able to, turn west as if you're going to Fort Laiedd and continue circling around the mountain. Sooner or later, you will reach Hermit Village.

Alas, your job isn't done just yet. There's Demi-Human Queen Maggie and a Magma Wyrm that you'll need to clear out first. While you can sprint past the Magma Wyrm, you have no choice but to defeat Maggie, as she resides right next to where you're going to acquire the spell.

After dealing with her, and the Magma Wyrm if you choose to do so, there is an NPC awaiting you in Hermit Village, who is no other than Sorcerer Azur. Speak with him, and he will gift you the Comet Azur spell.
