Assault rifles (AR) in Warzone continue to dominate the Season 4 meta thanks to their incredibly low levels of recoil and minimal damage drop-off. With the NZ-41 in line for a significant nerf, many players will begin their search for the next best Warzone assault rifle once the Season 4 Reloaded update launches.

The mid-season update includes the return of zombies in the Rebirth of the Dead LTM in addition to the Vargo S assault rifle. The prototype weapon is an early version of the Vargo 52 that's already in the Warzone arsenal. Featuring "improved accuracy and fire rate," the Vargo S could slot into the meta with ease.

Best Vargo S Warzone attachments

After spending plenty of time getting to grips with the Vargo S, this build is particularly useful when it comes to maintaining high levels of accuracy in mid-range engagements. Here are the best Vargo S Warzone attachments to use:

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Mirzoyan 414mm Custom

Best Vargo S Warzone perks and equipment

After selecting the best attachments on the Vargo S, this is a solid combination of Perks and Equipment that will provide further advantages over the course of a match. Here's what we recommend using.

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Overkill (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

Despite the appearance of new Perks, this combination continues to hold its own. EOD increases resistance to explosives while Overkill gives you the ability to choose two primary weapons in the same loadout.

Alongside the Vargo S, we recommend the Marco 5 SMG.

Lastly, we've gone with Amped for an increase in weapon swap speed. On several occasions, you tend to spot a faraway target running in the distance so having an improved reaction time gives you an even greater chance to score the kill.

  • Semtex (Lethal)
  • Stim (Tactical)

Semtex is particularly useful to deal additional damage to opponents and nearby vehicles thanks to its sticky nature. Despite nerfs, the Stim speed boost is crucial in order to gain an advantage in those hectic close-quarters battles.

Is the Vargo S good in Warzone?

So far, the Vargo S isn't making an impact on the current meta. Despite possessing plenty of desirable qualities, there are plenty of other assault rifles that outperform the rifle during matches.
