Thankfully, the Marco 5 is a good SMG option at various ranges, it's not good exclusively up close and personal, although you can build it out to be better at longer distances.
It's worth noting that you can use Akimbo Marco 5s by setting it as a weapon perk. It won't be for everyone, but its high levels of accuracy allow players to excel in hectic close-range scenarios.
How to unlock Marco 5
As one of three new guns arriving in Season 4, the Marco 5 will feature as part of the new Battle Pass. The SMG is available at Tier 15. There aren't any challenges to complete to unlock it.

Despite the addition of new Perks, this particular combination is still incredibly strong. EOD increases your resistance to explosives while Overkill allows you to equip another primary weapon. We recommend the NZ-41 assault rifle from Vanguard.
Lastly is Amped. The increase in weapon swap speed allows you to switch between the NZ-41 and the Franchi as fast as possible meaning you can react to any kind of scenario with ease.
