With Season 6 of Warzone in full swing and the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard around the corner, players claim High Alert is the most underrated Perk in Warzone. Perks have always been an important part of any Warzone setup and now finally fans have figured which Perk is often overlooked despite being incredibly useful on the streets of Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
Reddit user 'DefunctHunk_COD’ uploaded a video stating "High Alert is the most underrated perk in the game. Change my mind." High Alert features in the Perk 2 category and highlights your screen in orange when a player outside of your view has managed to spot you.
This post immediately created a debate amongst the Warzone community, with few players agreeing while others had their own opinion. "Pointman is the most underrated perk, most serious win farmers run it whilst doing train recons, bonus points for kill chain." one of them replied.

High Alert Is The Most Underrated Perk In Warzone
The video showcases the player who is busy sniping managing to evade an opponent thanks to the orange highlight appearing on their screen. Once behind some cover, they peek and eliminate them with a precise shot from the Kar98k.
Despite its advantages, High Alert has a 2.5% pick rate in Warzone compared to the other popular Perks including Ghost and Restock. It not only alerts the players about the nearby enemies but gives them a chance to take cover for themselves and secure a kill on the battlefield.
Some members of the community claimed that High Alert is so good, that other players have accused them of cheating. "High Alert and Combat Scout has gotten me a ridiculous amount of hackusations, especially in areas with paper mache walls." "I have avoided snipers and deaths from random crossings with it. Once I get the alert I just start bobbing and weaving u til I'm in a good position to fight. Being an agro player I spend a lot of the game without ghost anyways," another player added
It'll be interesting to see if High Alert slowly slots into the metagame during the remainder of Season 6. Until then, check out everything you need to know about The Haunting Halloween event and the new map set in the Pacific.
