The post quickly went viral as soon as it got posted, leading to debate amongst the Call of Duty community. One of the Reddit posts also got some very interesting comments including one that said,

“This makes the most sense to me. Makes MW and CW guns in WZ make sense. Make it an island that hasnt been used much since WW2, and you get relics from WW2, things like the diner we saw, keep some modern vehicles. Yet doesnt feel out of place to have WW2 stuff.”

This decision is particularly interesting, considering that each annual release has integrated into Warzone. Could it coincide with the rumoured release of Chapter 3? Is Warzone going to stray away from relying on the annual releases for new content? We will have to wait and see how this situation unfolds.

With less than two weeks left for Vanguard, It'll be interesting to see what additional changes the devs bring to Warzone. For more Warzone intel, find everything you need to know about the new Pacific map in our dedicated hub.
