Warzone publisher Activision has confirmed that those that own a copy of Call of Duty Vanguard will be able to play Caldera 24 hours before those that don't, meaning that several players will be dropping into the new map on December 2nd rather than December 3rd.

December 2nd marks the start of Vanguard Season 1 and will be where the game's entire weapon arsenal is integrated into the battle royale alongside the arsenals of Black Ops Cold War and 2019's Modern Warfare.

What Happens If I Don't Own Vanguard?

If you don't own Vanguard, you will have to wait until December 3rd before dropping into Caldera but while you wait, Rebirth Island will still be available to play so there's no downtime before Caldera is available to everyone.

If you can't wait a day, simply head to the store on PC or the store on Xbox or PlayStation to download Vanguard. This will grant you access to Caldera a little earlier to give you the upper hand over the opposition.

There you have it! That's how to play Warzone Pacific early. For more intel, check out a complete list of every point of interest on Caldera as well as how its size compares with Verdansk.
