The new era of the battle royale introduced the new map and players have been diving headfirst to check out what it has to offer. Although, Reddit user ‘YoungSafavi’ seems to be having an unusual experience while dropping in Caldera. Much to their surprise, the player is unable to land without being eliminated.

As evident in the clip, the player jumped out of the plane and was downed instantly. With the video being from the Vanguard Resurgence game mode, they had no choice but to wait until the countdown clock ran out before dropping back into the action. Most of the community found the bug to be hilarious, however, one user replied, “Same happened to me and team last night. Then it froze my Ps5.” If this happened in a normal Warzone match, players would begin the game from the Gulag which is hardly ideal.

Will Raven Software Fix The Drop Glitch?

It appears this is a unique glitch and a lot of the players are yet to experience it themselves. Despite this, it's still a significant issue that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later before it gets out of hand. Considering the severity of the problem, it's highly likely Raven Software is aware of the problem and working on a fix that could go live in the not too distant future.
